Tune-up FAQ
Will a tune-up really make my PC faster?
Most PCs leave performance on the table at factory settings. Dialling in clocks, voltages and RAM timings, removing Windows bloat and fixing cooling problems usually means higher and steadier frame rates and lower temperatures. How much depends on your hardware and its current condition.
Is BIOS tuning safe?
The tune finds the stable sweet spot for your particular parts: maximum frequency at the minimum stable voltage. Lower voltages generally mean less heat, and every tune is stability tested before your PC goes back.
Can you tune my PC remotely?
Yes. The remote performance tune runs over AnyDesk with me on the phone. You'll need an internet connection, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp, and a USB stick.
How often should a PC be cleaned?
Thermal paste hardens and dust builds up over time, so a PC that's started running hotter or louder than it used to is due. Custom water loops need a full drain, flush and refill about once a year.
Do you tune laptops too?
Yes. The laptop clean, service and tune includes a teardown and clean, re-paste, BIOS updates and Windows tuning for cooler running and better battery life.
